Oromo Nationalism is not a narrow nationalism
it is quite different. Oromo nationalism is created as a self defence it is not created to target other or Raze other's Identity, instead the Oromo identity is created for survival, in order to protect the extinction of their language, culture, identity, history and politics. the same is true for Others. if there is any Narrow nationalism in Ethiopia it is the one conducted by the ruling government.
the solomonic kingdom was working on imposing their language, culture and identity on others. they were trying to wipe out all identity except for them. it is in these sense that Ethiopianist Contradict Oromo nationalism. on the other hand the EPRDF which is now trying to provide us an alternative of oromo nationalism, is create to benefit only one nation the tigriyan's. this one has economic target based on nationalism. they robbed ethiopian resource from edge to edge by nationalim, marginalize people based on nationalim. above all there is no doubt that they use OPDO as an aparatus to execute this Economic narrow nationalism. they made a barrier of democracy on the paper while there was none.
