REGIONAL PRESIDENT OF ETHIOPIA VISITED THE NETHERLANDS
REGIONAL PRESIDENT OF ETHIOPIA VISITED THE NETHERLANDS The Regional President of Oromia, LEMMA MEGERSA, and The Regional President of Amhara, ANDARGACHEW, recently visited The Netherlands. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the Regional presidents with some of the Dutch companies active in ETHIOPIA, Such as Heineken, Groenteen Fruithuis, Wageningen University and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Some of the Challenges surrounding international investment have also been discussed. The Netherlands has a long standing economic and development relationship with countries in the Horn of Africa, and in particular with ETHIOPIA, Ethiopia is an important partner of the Netherlands and the Regions Oromia and Ahmara are the Regions where most of the aid and trade activities of the Netherlands take place.
