Shashamane Referral Hospital (SRH), one of the two biggest hospitals under Oromia Regional Health Bureau (ORHB), has no radiologist. Patients need to go to other cities to get this service. It takes two to three days for patients to complete OPD service that needs consultation of radiologist.  For example a patient stays two to three days for his/her X-ray result to arrive. This is totally unacceptable for such referral hospital; the bureau and governing board of the hospital should find a way to hire a radiologist in contract or permanent deal. By the way, what is the importance of sitting at bureau when our people is not getting such services at referral hospital? How many radiologists are sponsored by the bureau? How many of them returned to the region? ORHB, wake up from your deep sleep! Don't sleep on people who are in pain!
